Hi

I have even changed the permissions on the entire directories (/compnents/com_facileforms and /administrator/components/com_facileforms) to 777 recursively, but still no luck. I've played with the permissions on the /export directory a dozen times but never get anywhere with it...

For the life of me I can not get passed 3 permissions errors when I try to export either a XML or CSV file from the manage records tab in facile forms. The two errors i get are:

Warning: fopen(site/html/components/com_facileforms/exports/ffexport-20100405165623.csv) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /site/html/administrator/components/com_facileforms/admin/record.class.php on line 30

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /site/html/administrator/components/com_facileforms/admin/record.class.php on line 64

After those flash on the screen, it then proceeds to the screen:

*** ABUSE WARNING ***
Your attempt to hack FacileForms has been registrated.

Here are the logged details of your attack:

You tried to download /site/html/components/com_facileforms/exports/ffexport-20100412101127.csv

I'd appreciate any input, I have searched through dozens of posts and it seems that setting the permissions to 775 works everyone else but me, or I must be missing a directory...

I was able to get this going by uninstalling the facile forms component and then re-installing it (chosing new install to drop existing tables). No matter what I did with permissions on the facile form folders, this was the only way I was able to recover from those errors...

Sorry for my late response....
But can you give some details?
What version of FF are you running?
What OS is your server using?

It looks like my webhost company is running:

Red Hat 3.4.6-8
Joomla is 1.0.12 stable
FacileForms is 1.4.7

The permissions are still funky, I don't think it is a facileforms issue though...regardless everything is working atm Wink
