Hello,

I have just migrated a Joomla! 1.0.15 to a Debian Etch, PHP 5.2.0-8.  The joomla came with facileforms 1.4.7 installed.

For some reason, when using the WsyWyg, the save and cancel buttons don't do anything.  You can click on them, but nothing happens.  I tried to follow the code with firebug, but there are no errors.   If I turn off the WsyWyg in the configuration of FacileForms, I can save and cancel.

All of the permissions in Joomla are set correctly.
I installed the same site on a centos 5.2 and had the same problem.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Best option: don't use wysiwyg. Probably there are conflicts in JavaScript. These could be caused by your template.

BTW your PHP is very old!

Thank you for getting back to me Fred.

I just found out from the client that the wsywyg doesn't work on the original server so I'm apparently off the hook.

I noticed in the facileforms configuration that it should use the editor that's configured in the configuration.php file in joomla.   I tried just for laughs to change it from jce to tinymce, but the form remained the same.

What file in joomla does facileforms use to pick a text editor?

Thank you for your help.

P.S.  The version of PHP I'm using was forced upon me by our friends at Plesk.   Its sort of a "like it or leave" it sort of thing and since the client wanted Plesk, I had to take what they gave me.

Well you know, I never have used the wysiwyg editor while creating forms (and I did create some). I like to have full control over the form's behaviour; mostly I use CSS classes to make text fields behave how I want.

So, my advice is to not use the wysiwyg editor!
