Form screwed up when I changed text colours

I wanted to change my text colour so I did so for about five static text elements, then suddenly all the static elements have disappeared (only from the graph, not from the list) along with the last 5 boxes of my form. I used <font color="#FFFFF"> by the way. And no they aren't just white and I'm not noticing.

By the way, it worked fine for the first 5 or so then messed up.

After removing the colour tags they're normal again (had to place them again)...but what is a working method for changing text colour.
