Over time thousands of users have registerated on this site and we needed to clean up the user database. Users who signed up but never made any post in the forum were therefore removed. If anybody registerated lately planning to participate, please repeat the sign up.

Although the clean-up is completely understandable, I have had to sign up three times over the last three days now, having had my id pruned each time, even after having made a post...

We are aware of the inconvenience by having 3 different signups for the old forum, new forum and the wiki and apologize for that. 
 
The wiki signup is at least only necessary for people who want to contribute to documentation which (sadly) only very few do.

No problem - the work you are doing here is much appreciated. Once I get a better touch on the handles and whistles, I will sign up to contribute - which we should all do. 
 
Especially we should make some kind of introduction to (a) where and when code is executed and (b) how to use these handles to cater for database interaction.
