As time goes by things change. This is valid even more with internet and the way it works than with other areas of modern life. Although I never excluded (and still dont) to use Joomla or Mambo again one day, I'm more than ever afraid they won't get the corner to add basic features which are just a must for today web applications (live update, versioning and a reasonable permission system just to name a few). Many of you may know my focus turned to TYPOlight quite a while already, and currently there is nothing seen in Mambo/Joomla universe that could make me change mind.

Now this absence of mine also led to a stall in development of FacileForms itself, although there are new extensions now available based on it. Still FacileForms is however used on many Mambo and Joomla 1.x sites.

For the near future we are looking for new moderators out of the existing community who would like to continue maintaining the forum and wiki, because Nick and Fred who did the job over the last years would like to pass the torch on. If you are interested in the job, please answer to Nick's thread in the forum. In case we can't find new moderators we unfortunately would unfurtunately have to make all site resources read-only, or completely shut the site down.

Facile Forms is the greatest Form-Component i know and it helped me a lot on many websites. Sure... it´s more complicated then other components... but for that you have much more possibilities.
